Back in 2013 Portia (then called Ebborn Law) was thinking about how people could deal with lawyers easier. Not everyone wants the hassle of travelling across town to meet their lawyer, no matter how fancy their office is! We were really worried about our friends at Women’s Refuge, and worked with them to build VLaw™, the video law system we use today.
Last year we helped over 300 women get protection orders and most of them never had to leave the safety of the refuge. Awesome.
